Confession Booth

The Confession Booth is a place for
venting frustrations,
unleashing the terrible and
admitting the unbelievable
things that happen with kids -
won't you join me in sharing
all of those moments that
couldn't possibly have happened!

You know life is crazy and busy around this house when it isn't until I am all but finished unloading the dishwasher that I realize it hadn't even been run.
Just to be on the safe side, don't come to eat at our house for a few weeks to make sure we've cycled through all those dirty dishes because there was no way I could figure out which ones I had just unloaded!

I am cheap, I'll be the first to admit that.  So when our Little Athlete wanted a new Nerf Gun I told him we needed to research prices.  So we searched Nerf.com, Amazon and several stores websites.  Then I introduced him to the wonderful world of Craigslist.
It was quite funny to hear him retell the scenario to his dad:
"Daddy, guess what?!  There is a website just for garage sale stuff.  We can check it everyday to see when people want to get rid of their stuff and we can just go pick it up.  It doesn't even have to be summer or anything!"

Being a Health and Physical Education teacher, I would never feed my little loves high fat, processed food.  Never.  Well, okay, just every once in a while....surely not enough to warrant Sanity Saver from saying "fries" every.single.time. she sees a McDonald's sign.
Do they sell stock, or perhaps a patch similar to the Nicotine patch,
because apparently we need to detox.

Sanity Saver has a new word...woud.  Not pronounced like "wood", but rather "rude".  She learned it from Stuntman and sadly enough uses it in context every time!  Just yesterday, I told her that she couldn't do something, and she crosses her arms, looks at me and says, "You woud. WOUD!" So hubby picks her up and tells her she can't talk to mommy that way.  She looks at me and very softly and sweetly says, "you woud."  Apparently she thought he meant she couldn't yell it.
